Edwardsville Parks and Recreation is excited to bring our summer concert series back to the park in 2025! Our summer concerts are a part of our Art in the Park series, highlighting local artists of various music genres.

First up we have local artist Steve Ewing! Steve is know for fronting St. Louis band, The Urge. We are so excited to have him back in the city's bandstand. Sit back, relax, and enjoy eclectic blend of cover including some of The Urge favorites and original material!

All concerts will take place at City Park from 8 - 10 p.m.. These concerts are completely free!

We would like to thank our Art in the Park series sponsor Republic Services for supporting community events like these!

The event will feature live music from 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 from 12-3 PM. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to Feed The People, an outreach organization started by Steve Ewing, creator of Steve’s Hotdogs and lead singer of the national musical group The Urge. We’re thrilled to announce that Slipping Into Darkness, our annual celebration of stouts, is returning on March 2, 2024! Our favorite local DJs will keep the vibe just right with tunes throughout the afternoon and Master Blaster: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder Featuring Steve Ewing of The Urge will perform live in the tent during the festival.

Naked Rock Fight will be performing at Defiance Ridge Vineyards in Defiance, Missouri. Come enjoy the patio and some funky jazz jams.

Swunk will be provide jazz with a funky backbeat to Chandler Hill Vineyards in Defiance, Missouri. Come enjoy the patio and some live music.

Dawn Weber will be bringing a quartet to Chandler Hill Vineyards in Defiance, Missouri. Come enjoy the patio and some jazz and pop favorites.

The Hillary Fitz Band performs rock, folk, and americana at The Vintage Wine Bar in Waterloo, Illinois.

The Steve Ewing Band will rock Hillsboro, Illinois! It’s a free, all-day event that’s good for the whole family.

The Steve Ewing Band will bring their originals, along with songs by The Urge, The Police, Prince, and more, to City Park in Edwardsville, Illinois, for their summer concert series.

The Hillary Fitz Band will be taking part in The Dark Room at The Grandel’s Open Air series. It’s a chance to experience live music in person with a limited amount of ticket holders. We’ll be under a heated tent, so consider purchasing a ticket.
